EAT TO COMPLETE

Eat to complete was an article about eating after and before a workout. It talked about the types of food you should be eating before and after a workout. You should have a certain balance of protein, fat, and carbs. You don't want to be drained when you are geting ready to workout. Watch what you eat, you can make little changes to your meal to make it more balanced. After athletes workout hard they are going to be staring at fries and thats fine just make sure you get the small. Soda is never a good choice, the sugar gives you a buzz along with the caffeine, which gives you a high. It was recommended that you subsitute the soda with 16 ounces of apple or orange juice. The purpose of the post activity meal is to take your body from the catabolic state of sport and provide the fuel you need for repleneshing the carbohydrates and protein. Make sure you eat to complete you workout.
